Wickey PRO Statement of Guarantee

We first draw your attention to your statutory rights: statutory guarantee law, statutory right of withdrawal for consumers, general statutory claims for damages.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this guarantee.

10-year warranty for public climbing frames and swings

We provide a durability guarantee on all wooden, HDPE and stainless steel elements for all climbing frames, swings and motor activity walls intended for public use. This warranty only applies if the purchased item has been properly assembled in accordance with our assembly instructions.

For PRO Magic series climbing frames and swings, playhouses, free-standing slides, bars and tumble bars as well as parkour playground equipment this guarantee only applies if the anchors included in the scope of delivery are used for the entire service life and are properly installed in accordance with our assembly instructions.

For GIANT series climbing frames, this guarantee only applies if

• the purchased item has been properly assembled in accordance with our assembly instructions,
• anchors officially authorised by Wickey (Wickey PROLock angle anchors) have been used for this installation and have been properly installed in accordance with our installation instructions,
• the anchors have been ordered no later than 4 weeks after receipt of the purchased item and
• these anchors are used properly and permanently together with the purchased item for the entire service life of the purchased item.

This warranty includes an obligation on the part of Wickey to pay for the damage to wooden parts, HDPE elements and stainless steel elements of the purchased item as a result of weather conditions. The duration of the warranty (warranty period) is 10 years. The warranty begins upon receipt of the goods. The warranty is valid for 10 years. The warranty expires after 10 years. The guarantee does not apply to gymnastics bars, additionally purchased accessories that are not included with the climbing frame and swing. The warranty is not transferable. The warranty expires if the purchased item is sold by you. In such an event, the warranty expires with the completion of the sale.

If the manufacturer acknowledges defects, the costs arising from a recall and return action are not covered by this warranty.

The following are not covered by the warranty:

• Damage caused by improper use,
• Damage caused by vandalism,
• Damage caused by incorrect assembly of the wooden parts,
• Damage caused by improper storage,
• Damage due to natural wear and tear. Wear, overloading,
• Damage caused by the use of accessories/add-ons/attachments and maintenance products not approved by the manufacturer,
• Damage caused by external influences or events such as storm damage, flood damage or mains water damage,
• Damage that is not sustained by the object of sale, so-called consequential damage,
• Minor defects which do not significantly affect the value or use of the goods
• Personal injury.

To claim the warranty you require the following:
1. Photos of the defects on the wooden, stainless steel or HDPE elements on the climbing frame or swing for public use,
2. Photos of the anchoring,
3. A copy of the invoice (invoice enclosed with the item sent) or order confirmation (sent to you by e-mail). The invoice or order confirmation must state which products you have purchased from us and that you have also purchased corresponding anchors from us.

You can claim the guarantee informally (e.g. by Contact Form) by submitting the evidence mentioned above.

The territorial scope of the guarantee protection extends to the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.

In the event of a guarantee claim, the faulty wooden parts of the purchased item will be replaced with a free substitute delivery. You may request that the above guarantee policy be sent to you in writing.
