Wickey Statement of Guarantee
We first draw your attention to your statutory rights: statutory guarantee law, statutory right of withdrawal for consumers, general statutory claims for damages.
Your statutory rights are not affected by this guarantee.
10-year guarantee for private climbing frames and swings
We provide a durability guarantee on all wooden elements for all climbing frames and swings intended for private use. This guarantee is only valid if the purchased item has been properly assembled in accordance with our assembly instructions and officially authorised Wickey anchors (Angle anchor Wickey SolidLock, Ground anchor Wickey SimpleLock, Ground anchor Wickey QuickLock, Ground anchor Wickey MasterLock 7x7 cm, Slide anchor Wickey SlideLock, Slide anchor Wickey MasterLock 9x9 cm) are used throughout its service life. The anchors must also be properly installed according to our installation instructions.
This guarantee includes an obligation on the part of Wickey to pay for the rotting of wooden parts of the purchased item as a result of weather conditions. The guarantee does not apply to additionally purchased accessories that are not included in the scope of delivery of the climbing frame and swing. The duration of the guarantee (guarantee period) on all wooden parts is 10 years. The guarantee begins upon receipt of the goods. The guarantee is valid for 10 years. The guarantee expires after 10 years. The guarantee does not apply to beds, spring rockers, sandpits and products intended for public use. The guarantee expires when the purchased item is sold by you. In such an event, the guarantee expires with the completion of the sale.
If the manufacturer acknowledges defects, the costs arising from a recall and return action are not covered by this guarantee.
The following are not covered by the guarantee:
- Damage due to improper handling,
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly of the wooden parts,
- Damage due to improper storage,
- Damage due to natural wear and tear. Wear, overloading,
- Damage caused by the use of accessories/add-ons/attachments and maintenance products not approved by the manufacturer,
- Damage caused by external influences or events such as storm damage, flood damage or mains water damage,
- Damage that is not sustained by the object of sale, so-called consequential damage,
- Minor defects which do not significantly affect the value or use of the goods,
- Personal injury.
To claim the guarantee you require the following:
1. Photos of the defects of the wooden parts on the climbing frame or swing
2. Photos of the anchoring
3. A copy of the invoice (invoice enclosed with the item sent) or order confirmation (sent to you by e-mail) The invoice or order confirmation must state which products you have purchased from us and that you have also purchased corresponding anchors from us.
5-year guarantee on private products
When purchasing the additional guarantee of 5 years, we provide a durability guarantee on all wooden elements on all products intended for private use. This guarantee only applies if the purchased item has been properly assembled in accordance with our assembly instructions. Furthermore, the guarantee is only valid if there are no more than 4 weeks between receipt of the playground equipment and ordering the additional guarantee.
This guarantee includes an obligation on the part of Wickey to pay for the rotting of wooden parts of the purchased item as a result of weather conditions. The duration of the guarantee (guarantee period) on all wooden parts is 5 years. The guarantee period begins upon receipt of the order confirmation. The guarantee is valid for 5 years. The guarantee expires after 5 years. If the guarantee is purchased more than once, the guarantee period is extended accordingly. Once purchased, this guarantee product is valid alongside the 10-year guarantee on all wooden elements for climbing frames and swings, provided that the validity requirements of both warranties are met. The guarantee does not apply to products, intended for public use and not to additionally purchased accessories that are not included with the product. The guarantee is not transferable. The guarantee expires when the purchased item is sold by you. In such an event, the guarantee expires with the completion of the sale.

2. A copy of the invoice (invoice enclosed with the item sent) or order confirmation (sent to you by e-mail) The invoice copy or order confirmation must show which product you have purchased from us and that you have purchased the additional 5-year guarantee,
3. If you have purchased the guarantee separately, it is mandatory that you also send us a copy of the invoice for the purchase of the additional guarantee.
5 year guarantee for Wickey FIT products
We provide a guarantee of durability on all wooden and HDPE elements for all training equipment intended for private use. This guarantee only applies if the purchased item has been properly assembled in accordance with our assembly instructions and officially authorised anchors (Wickey MasterLock 9x9 cm ground anchors) have been used throughout its period of use. The anchors must also be properly installed according to our installation instructions.
This guarantee includes an obligation on the part of Wickey to pay for the damage to wooden parts, HDPE elements of the purchased item as a result of weather conditions. The duration of the guarantee (guarantee period) is 5 years. The guarantee begins upon receipt of the goods. The guarantee is valid for 5 years. The guarantee expires after 5 years. The guarantee does not apply to additionally purchased accessories that are not included in the scope of delivery of the FIT products. The guarantee is not transferable. The guarantee expires if the purchased item is sold by you. In such an event, the guarantee expires with the completion of the sale.
If the manufacturer acknowledges defects, the costs arising from a recall and return action are not covered by this guarantee.
The following are not covered by the guarantee:
- Damage caused by improper use,
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly of the wooden parts,
- Damage caused by improper storage,
- Damage due to natural wear and tear, wear, overloading,
- Damage caused by the use of accessories/add-ons/attachments and maintenance products not approved by the manufacturer,
- Damage caused by external influences or events such as storm damage, flood damage or mains water damage,
- Damage that is not sustained by the object of sale, so-called consequential damage,

5-year guarantee for public climbing frames, swings and gymnastic bars
We guarantee the durability of all wooden, HDPE and stainless steel elements on all climbing frames, swings and gymnastic bars for public use. This guarantee is only valid if the purchased item has been properly assembled in accordance with our assembly instructions and officially authorised Wickey anchors (Angle anchor Wiceky PROLock) are used throughout its service life. The anchors must also be properly installed according to our installation instructions.
This guarantee includes an obligation on the part of Wickey to pay for the damage to wooden parts, HDPE elements and stainless steel elements of the purchased item as a result of weather conditions. The duration of the guarantee (guarantee period) is 5 years. The guarantee begins upon receipt of the goods. The guarantee is valid for 5 years. The guarantee expires after 5 years. The guarantee does not apply to gymnastics bars, additionally purchased accessories that are not included with the climbing frame and swing. The guarantee is not transferable. The guarantee expires when the purchased item is sold by you. In such an event, the guarantee expires with the completion of the sale.
If the manufacturer acknowledges defects, the costs arising from a recall and return action are not covered by this guarantee.
The following are not covered by the guarantee:
- Damage due to improper handling,
- Damage due to vandalism,
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly of the wooden parts,
- Damage due to improper storage,
- Damage due to natural wear and tear. Wear, overloading,
- Damage caused by the use of accessories/add-ons/attachments and maintenance products not approved by the manufacturer,
- Damage caused by external influences or events such as storm damage, flood damage or mains water damage,
- Damage that is not sustained by the object of sale, so-called consequential damage,
- Minor defects which do not significantly affect the value or use of the goods,
- Personal injury.
To claim the guarantee you require the following:
1. Photos of the defects on the wooden, stainless steel or HDPE elements on the climbing frame or swing for public use,
2. Photos of the anchoring
3. A copy of the invoice (invoice enclosed with the item sent) or order confirmation (sent to you by e-mail) The invoice or order confirmation must state which products you have purchased from us and that you have also purchased corresponding anchors from us.
You can claim the guarantee informally (e.g. by Contact Form) by submitting the evidence mentioned above.
The territorial scope of the guarantee protection extends to the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.
