Terms and Conditions Wickey Wonderland
§ 1 Scope
The following terms and conditions apply to participation in the Wickey’s Winter Wonderland promotion. The following terms and conditions of participation apply uniformly and exclusively to participation in the Wickey’s Wonderland promotion.
§ 2 Promotion
(1) The promotion is organized by WICKEY GmbH & Co. KG, Franz-Savels-Straße 69, 52538 Gangelt, Germany.
(2) The promotion is limited in time. The promotion begins on 02/12/2025. The promotion ends on 04/01/2026 at 24:00. Entries submitted late will not be considered.
(3) Participants can open one virtual door of the Wickey Wonderland calendar each day. The prize is displayed to the participants upon opening the respective door.
(4) Discount codes awarded as prizes are always valid for a total of two days. An exception is the discount code that is won on 06/12/2025. This code is only valid on 06/12/2025.
(5) The discount codes cannot be combined with other discount codes, competitions, or promotions advertised via social media and Google.
(6) In addition, every participant who purchases a product during the promotion period using a discount code they have won automatically takes part in a cash-back promotion. The prize of the cash-back is a full refund of the actual purchase price paid.
§ 3 Participation
(1) Eligible to participate are natural persons of legal capacity aged 18 or older. Participating customers must have their permanent residence in UK or Belgium. Employees of Wickey GmbH & Co. KG and their family members are excluded from participation.
(2) Only customers of Wickey GmbH & Co. KG are eligible to participate.
(3) Participation in the promotion occurs through a one-time registration via email. The participant must enter their email address in the corresponding field. They will then receive a 6-digit code to confirm their email address. The code must then be entered in a separate window in the web shop.
(4) By doing so, the participant also automatically takes part in the cash-back promotion.
(5) There are 4 winners for the cash-back promotion. These will be drawn in January from all participants who meet the requirements. The winners will be notified of their prize by email from 08/01/2026 onwards.
(6) Each participant may take part in the promotion once per day.
(7) Wickey GmbH & Co. KG may exclude participants from the promotion without giving reasons. This applies in particular if the participant has provided incomplete information. In the event of a violation of the participation conditions or reasonable suspicion of such a violation by the participant, Wickey GmbH & Co. KG is entitled to exclude the respective participant with immediate effect. In such a case, Wickey GmbH & Co. KG is entitled to revoke prizes and/or reclaim them if necessary.
§ 4 Execution and Processing
(1) A cash payment is not possible.
(2) The respective doors must always be opened on the exact designated day. It is not possible to open doors on subsequent days.
(3) Discount code prizes are always valid for a total of two days. An exception is the discount code that is won on 06/12/2025. This code is only valid on 06/12/2025.
(4) There are 4 winners for the cash-back promotion. These will be drawn in January from all participants who meet the requirements. The winners will be notified of their prize by email from 08/01/2026 onwards.
§ 5 Participation Data
(1) The participant declares their consent that their name may be used and published by Wickey GmbH & Co. KG for marketing purposes in the event of winning.
(2) The participant expressly consents to photographs being taken of them on behalf of Wickey GmbH & Co. KG and published online for the promotion of the action. They consent to these photographs, together with the participant’s name, being made publicly accessible for self-promotion by Wickey GmbH & Co. KG and being passed on by Wickey GmbH & Co. KG to the press as part of media and press coverage of the promotion. This consent also covers publication of the images and the participant’s name in print media and other media. The participant has no claim to publication of their name or the photographs taken. They have no entitlement to remuneration arising from publication of the data and images under this provision.
(3) The participant expressly agrees that Wickey GmbH & Co. KG stores their registration data for the duration of the competition and, in the event of winning, for the purpose of sending the prize and publication pursuant to para. 1.
§ 6 Rights and Obligations of Wickey GmbH & Co. KG
(1) Wickey GmbH & Co. KG does not verify registration data.
(2) Wickey GmbH & Co. KG is entitled to cancel the competition at any time. The reasons for cancellation do not have to be communicated to the participants. Cancellation may be considered if proper execution of the promotion can no longer be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons. If cancellation is caused by a participant’s behaviour, Wickey GmbH & Co. KG may claim damages.
(3) In the event of a violation of these terms and conditions of participation or reasonable suspicion of such a violation by a customer, Wickey GmbH & Co. KG is entitled to exclude the respective customer.
§ 7 Liability
(1) Wickey GmbH & Co. KG shall be liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence by Wickey GmbH & Co. KG or its legal representatives, senior employees, or simple vicarious agents.
(2) In cases of slightly negligent breaches of only insignificant contractual obligations, Wickey GmbH & Co. KG shall not be liable. Otherwise, the liability of Wickey GmbH & Co. KG for damages caused by slight negligence is limited to those damages that can typically be expected to occur within the scope of the contractual relationship. This also applies in the event of slightly negligent breaches of duty by legal representatives, senior employees, or simple vicarious agents. The limitation of liability does not apply to claims relating to bodily injury, damage to health, or loss of life of the participant, insofar as such damage is attributable to Wickey GmbH & Co. KG.
(3) All information is provided without guarantee. This applies in particular to the publication of customers’ names.
§ 8 Data Protection
(1) Wickey GmbH & Co. KG treats the registration data of the participants confidentially and makes it available to third parties only to the extent permitted under data protection law, where necessary for carrying out the promotion and sending the discount code, or where the participant has consented.
(2) Wickey GmbH & Co. KG points out that personal data of the customer will be processed electronically. The data will be used solely for carrying out the promotion and for promotional purposes pursuant to § 5, unless otherwise agreed.
(3) With the Information on the processing of personal data, Wickey GmbH & Co. KG informs the participant about the nature, scope, duration, and purpose of the collection, processing, and use of personal data, their right to free information about the personal data stored by Wickey GmbH & Co. KG, and their right to correction, deletion, and blocking of this data.
§ 9 Legal Recourse
Legal recourse is excluded.
§ 10 Final Provisions
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers who do not conclude the contract for professional or commercial purposes, this choice of law only applies insofar as the protection granted by mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence is not withdrawn. The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods do not apply.
(2) If the participant does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany or if their place of residence or habitual residence is unknown at the time the action is brought, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is the registered office of Wickey GmbH & Co. KG.
(3) Should individual provisions of these promotion conditions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
