This weed control fabric can be inserted into the sandbox to prevent vermin such as worms, but also roots etc. from getting into the sandbox from below. The weed control fabric can be fastened in the sandbox, e.g. with a stapler, before the sand is filled in.

Impregnated Wickey wood made of pine or spruce is naturally and sustainably cultivated and is known for particular outdoor durability. It provides our products with a firm footing that ensures both fun and safety.
Can I also buy sand from Wickey?
You cannot purchase sand from Wickey. You can, however, find high-quality play sand for your kids in all well-stocked DIY stores.
Why doesn't the lid of the sandpit close completely?
The small gaps between the boards, or between the lid and the pit, prevent the formation of mould due to the build-up of moisture.
